Is An Inbound Marketing Strategy Right For Your Business?

Working Hard-2

Inbound marketing is the fad digital marketing option sweeping the internet right now.

Everyone and their brother is shouting the amazing statistics coming from this system of tactics-

But! Is it all people make it out to be? Is it an inbound marketing strategy the right option for your business?

The truth is- it depends!

Inbound marketing does make way for great results but that doesn’t mean everyone should do it.

The investment alone is substantial as with other marketing initiations, and the day to day work requires a lot of expertise and time.

For a majority of companies, the investment is worth it.

In the end (after 3 months - but up to 6 months) more visitors are coming to your site, they are leaving their information to learn more about your offerings, and your company is spending a much less amount of time running around to find interest for your business.

But here is the reality:

Starting out inbound marketing is expensive

Doing it with your own marketing department usually means they have a lot of training to do, much of which is offered through the software company you choose to partner with for your inbound efforts.

Hosting your website, paying for the use of the software (usually over $1,000 a month) and generating the vast amounts of content you need to handle such a strategy will cost at the very minimum thousands of dollars.

Working with a partner agency

Another option of implementing inbound marketing is to choose a partner agency. Again the investment is large, but you are paying for the experience- someone who has done this type of work over and over, and is efficient in getting the set up done, and results delivered.

Content, content, content

Even after the 3 - 6 months of waiting for results, your website will need regular content in the form of blogging and landing pages to continue getting results.

On the other hand, the pros for inbound marketing far outweigh the cons, for example:

6 Months In Business Flies By

Even though it can be a lofty upfront cost to start seeing results in 3-6 months, that isn’t a very long time in the business world. 6 months of time flies by, and in 6 months from now, won’t you and your investors be happy about the results- assuming of course, they are in line with what agencies and other successful companies are saying?

Lead Generation Is Not Easy

The way you are getting leads may not be efficient and financially feasible for your business. Chances are, if you are considering inbound marketing, you need to make a change in how you generate leads- SOON. This could very well be the option you are seeking.

Automation Is Cost Effective

When you automate several processes in the marketing and sales departments, the teams are available to handle sales on a much more effective level. Revenue increases from the improved amounts of sales and clients are happy with the personal attention they receive without needing to be vetted extensively when they enter the system.

Amazing Results

There is no other way to say it; Inbound marketing produces amazing results. But you have to be in it, dedicated to it, and willing to invest the time and money necessary to handle this implementation. In the end, assuming you do it effectively, the company owner and investors will be excited to see the difference.

There is no question that inbound marketing is a massive, resources pulling system, that not all companies can afford. But for those that do, the results can be business altering and make the difference you’ve been looking for.
