On a previous post I mentioned the merits of Google Freebies. I just got an unexpected one in the mail the other day. Inalign is now a 'Google Favorite Place'. Which means we have this nice window sticker with a code on it, and if you install the right software on your iPhone, you can scan the code and instantly get reviews and information about Inalign.

I don't think this is going to help me out that much, as we're not a retail store or a restaurant, but I do like where it's going.

The odd thing is that Google says that between December and February of 2010 Inalign was one of the most searched local places on the web. Only 100,000 business got this distinction from Google. So I guess I should be honored, but I find it hard to believe.

It one of the reasons that I keep mentioning to people that when you say 'Google' it's just a big algorithm in the cloud doing 'something' and no one really knows exactly what. But free is free so take what you can get.
